Bryan received his Associates Degree from Goldenwest College in Business. He is a native to Southern California and has lived in Long beach for 16 Years. He is excited to bring his business experience to the Atlantic Alano Club. Bryan has been attending meetings at the Atlantic Alano Club since 2007 and served on previous boards as Treasurer and Membership Chair.

Abbey was born and raised in Southern California. She moved to Long Beach in 2012 and began her recovery with Atlantic Alano Club meetings in 2019. After retiring in 2018 from an exciting career as a scientist, she wanted to continue to be of service but also to live a life that included the more balanced development of mind, body, and spirit. Abbey is thrilled to offer her energy and any of her experience in service to the Club.

Mike Powers is a native of Akron, Ohio, but has lived in California for 50 years, and in Long Beach for 40 years. He has been sober since 1983, so he remembers when the Atlantic Alano Club was at 10th and Atlantic. After getting sober, Mike returned to school, earning a B. A. in Spanish & Linguistics from UCLA. He currently works as a bookkeeper and income tax preparer, and is very excited about the upcoming prospect of retirement. Mike lives in Long Beach with Jay Woodruff, his husband of 20 years, and their dog Joey.

Al is a native of New Orleans, and has lived in Long Beach for the past 13 years. He earned his B.S in Accounting and a MBA from the University of New Orleans. Al has been attending meetings at the Atlantic Alano Club since 2019, and joined the board as Membership Chair in 2021. He is looking forward to being of service to the Atlantic Alano Club and its membership.

Al is from Buffalo, New York. He moved to Long Beach in 1985 at which time he got sober and became a member of the Atlantic Alano Club. He was the chairperson for People of Color AA Convention in 2010 and 2011, and is now the 2017 Chairperson for KISSAR Roundup here in Long Beach. Al was the AAC Building Chair for 2013-2015 and is now serving again in that same role.

Zane was born and raised in Southern California and the Atlantic Alano Club has been a very important part of their recovery. In sobriety, Zane earned a B.S. in Business and a Masters in Counseling as well as Certification as a Mindfulness Meditation Teacher. Motivated by compassion for others and a desire to give back, Zane is very excited to be of service and bring their passion for helping folx to our community.

Moises was born and raised in Southern California and is proud to be a bilingual Mexican-American. His passion for dance, cooking and event programming began with planning his family and friends' weddings, parties, and important events. In 2020 Moises started attending meetings at the Atlantic Alano Club and joined the Board in 2022. He is excited to be able to give back to the Atlantic Alano Club, its amazing members and to the Community.
